IOSAN "Jacks" have "Beam cannons"

Ok I got alot to blog about and I think im gonna have to use multiple posts cause im WAAAAAY behind on my bloging. So 1st blog is alll aboot No quater 25 and the awesomeness that is the retribution. So we got a sneak peek at one of the new casters stats and Wow. But wht im more intrested in ios the jacks or myromidins as they are known. Guts and Gears has a great article on how they work and I must say I loved the fact that they have a bonejack size damage grid but also have an energy field which can be used to fire a a beam of energyh at a opponent. BEAM CANNON!!! HELLS YEAH.

So I think thats a big plus for the Retribution and If I ever bring them into my campaign (and as we are currently in 603 Ar and the Retirbution are like 608 AR its gonna be a while) i think one will just charge up and blast away a small squadron of trenchers for shits and giggles.

SO whatesle did I enjoy. Well a whole Article on the Sailing Vessels of the Iron Kingdoms. Main reson we get a little sneaky nibble of Zu the land over the waves. I like the idea of Cygnatr and Ord being the two Nations pretty much on par with naval Technology and Khador just compencatign with BIGGER ships pretty much. Oh and Cygnar have subs go Cygnar.

There is a side note about the Cryxian fleets which is of note as well.


So Ayacon is a few weeks away now and is already cost me an arm and a leg on hotels (lastm inute problems what can i say it happens :) ).
Cant wait gonan be alogn friday but will be wel lworht it :D.

Also now have a laptop otw which is also costing me a small fortune.

Oh and I gotta resubmitt all my coursework barring one by the 18th and my pcs still ... BALLS. Right next up a tal kabout my campaign so far as we had an awesoem session Friday night.

ok before we get to the ranting lets look at a shinny new retibution warcaster Ravyn she looks shinny.

But none the less lets begin the rant its a classic. I HATE MY JOB!!!
Yeah last night was hell on earth got in at 6 to find it was all go. Pot wash was crammed up no one was working on it GAH. I jumped straight in we had to have two people working on the make table makign dah food prep sucks. The boss was meant ot be helping i nthe kitchen but didnt see him till late. Went and got most of defrost doen before i I ran out of clean pans and had to go to do potwash.

Oh and no one broke down any of the work surfqaces so I was essentialy left to close the entire kitchen myself JOY.

So yeah 2:30 this morning i slugged my corpse back home and went to bed annoyed that I start at 12 today and im closing again WHY!!!

so yeah anyone got a better job out there let me know.

more gold from Privateer Press

Privateer have released more images of some of the new units for the Retribution army As well as the usual command attachments theyve previeed the Arcanist there version of a mechanik and a sniper of all things.
The snipers fluff just shows how iscolated and secretive the elves are. They want no outsiders to get in AT ALL. Why because they dotn want no one to know there goddess is dying which they blame human magics and there arcane machines for.

Also the new Grind website is UP whoop plus a awesome 3-D trailer to go with it which i think is FANTASTIC

When I look at the image of what you get in the boxset with the coloured plastic units with interchangable equipemnt my Mind harks back to a board game made by Mb Games and Games workshop.
Yup thats right Old Geeks i am talking about that awesome board Game Space Crusade.

So anyways what we gettign for our money. answer is a awesome game board 2 pilars to act as obstacles the Grind ball a game board and 10 jacks 5 khadoran 5 cygnaran. Get this Khador are getting light jacks for this. is this a sign of the future for khador. Probaly not as this Warjack was made by another company for the express use of a demo project in this other companies new game development tool.

Any way that what I gots to say for now. Well except Thanks to PVP when me and kylie finnaly get a place together we will be gettign a kitten named Scratch Fury Destrioyer of Worlds ... Thanks PVP

Grind the new Bloodbowl and Doug Seacat is Number 1 hear our pleas Doug

For all you kiddies out there who love Warmachien but havent been lookign at the Privateer Press website, you migth want to go over there now. Not just to see shinny new pictures of the Retribution By the way theyve Shown two new units today. The House Sheeyl Magister These guys sound like they hav jedi gauntlets allowing them to flip and throw there enemies round the war zone.
The Souless Escort who they seem to use as a energy absorbing device. I like this idea it shows that the elves dont really care for there souless babies and would rather use them in the most inhumane ways.

But anyway im Digresing.

Grind is to be released as a official board game. If you dont know What Grind is essentialy its a sports game where you pit warjack against warjack as they charge up and down there respective sides of the pitch rolling a giant metal ball to the other pesrons goal.

Grind was 1st released in No Quater Issue 10 as a mini game to Warmachine. WIth this version of grind I dont knwo if the rules will be different to Warmachine what I do know from the press release its a all plastic kit box set. The jacks come with multiple interchangebale parts for full customisation. You also get the game pitch the ball and the classic grind 2 spiked cylindery things. This looks like a fun game and I am assuming from the box art that the box will feature Cygnar and Khador although that is just me speculating here.

Also if you read the Iron Kingdoms RPG boards on the Privateer Press boards you will have noticed Doug Seacat the man who does the fiction and fluff for Warmachine Posted a wealth of information in a post about one of the minor human subcultres the Sinari. In which he ocmments he has alot more information sotred on his HArddrive like this. I for one woudl like to see alot more of what Doug has hiding on his hard drive and so would alot of people. Head on over to the Privateer Press forums in the IK RPG boards youl lfind a post where were just petitioning Doug to put more on the boards or some where on the site. Why were doing this is because Privateer Press decided not to go 4th Edition (which my humble opinion is a good Idea) and stayed in 3.5 means there are no mroe Iron Kingdom RPG books being relased at the moment and anythign made for

THE 3.5 IK RPG is essentialy as far as we can tell stored on Dougs harddrive. So we are emploring Doug and Privateeer Please Please im on ym knees Please relase this information to us. It will help us roleplayers imensly as it will keep thje Iron Kingdoms RPG scene alive ... until your acctualy release a new IK RPG ... possibly with your own rules. So please guys let us have the good evn if its jsut as more RPG segments in No Quater.

Mage huntery goodness

Now everyone who has ever read any of the fluff regarding Eiryss or the mage hunters and the retribution of Scyrah from the Iron Kingdoms Character Guide Knows that the new soon to be released Warmachine faction. Also known as the retribution of Schyrah would be feilding mage hunters. Now I figured youd get a lesser Solo version of Eiryss. I stand corrected and because of it I have a huge Nerd on.

MAGE HUNTER UNITS!!!

Thats right a whole Bloody unit of Mage Hunters. They have a field allowence of 2 pers warcaster whoopie. And whats more they have a commander attachment of which you can have one per warcaster. Expect your warcasters to cry themselves to sleep come September the Retribution be comming.
